Triamcinolone Needle Clogs
Our organization has experienced an increase in needle clogs caused by steroid + local anesthetic joint injections in the last 2 months. Based on our experiences and available products, we may have pinpointed the issue to the Amneal 40 mg/mL 1 mL triamcinolone product. Has anyone else who uses the Amneal product experienced issues with clogged needles during steroid + local anesthetic injections recently? Thank you!
