iLet insulin pumps

Good afternoon,

Do you permit the use of the new iLet pumps as patient home med, which autonomously calibrates and adjusts insulin delivery based on glycemic levels?

If yes, I’m interested in learning how other institutions are handling the ordering and documentation of iLet pumps, given that basal rates fluctuate, and carbohydrate counting is replaced by meal announcements. How have you structured your order sets within the EMR?
